Dr. Oz has a long history of promoting things that turn out to be dubious.

Retraction Watch – Authors retract green coffee bean diet paper touted by Dr. Oz – October 20, 2014 Author Ivan Oransky Two authors of a 2012 paper sponsored by a company that made grand claims about green coffee bean extract’s abilities to help people lose weight have retracted it. My letters to US Senators who are needed to confirm this jackass:

My letter to Dave Mccormick:

Dr. Oz is a loser who has no place running an agency in the federal government and should not be confirmed to any position. He lost his bid against Senator John Fetterman, even though Fetterman had an actual stroke and hospitalization while campaigning. I remember that election, nobody trusted Oz. This guy should be so embarrassed he just retires from public life. He’s backed quack cures that turned out to be not real, and he’s been pulled up in front of Congress already about that crap. It’s embarrassing. He’s going to wind up under investigations and constant public scrutiny because of his celebrity. It’s going to waste everyone’s time, and possibly jeopardize the healthcare of real people.

My letter to John Fetterman:

Dr. Oz is a loser who couldn’t win an election because nobody trusted him. He shouldn’t be put in charge of anything where he might touch stuff that affects people’s everyday lives, especially vulnerable senior citizens. He pushed quack cures that were debunked and discredited later, and he’s been pulled up in front of Congress already about that. He’s just going to do stuff that’s going to waste everyone’s time with more hearings because his celebrity seeking behaviour will inevitably take center stage. And if you vote to confirm him, I expect you then to be the one calling for the hearings to investigate him when he inevitably does something dodgy.
