The CEO of some foreign company that’s been illegally marketing and selling Americans covid test equipment that’s not FDA approved is now moving to sell Americans the veterinary version to use on humans and people in left online spaces are promoting this. Horseshoe Theory? Or I guess Horse Paste Theory.
If you have anyone in your life suggesting using pet covid tests, advise them that this is not wise as tests are generally designed differently for animals. There are proven and approved covid tests available in the U.S. still, and your best bet is to write your representatives and tell them you want more options if you’re not happy with the offerings through reputable sources.
And beware online groups that create a community around a product. It’s often to draw people in to provide an audience for sellers. And not all advertising looks like advertising. Many times people are paid to post online on forums and in support groups with what look like “personal testimonials” but which are designed to promote products.
This shouldn’t be something I have to say to my left-leaning audience who are not generally black pilled right-wing Qanon believers, but here we are.
