I didn’t read the piece in The Daily Caller, and I won’t link to it, but The Bulwark covered this and read from some of it, and it’s pretty telling that all these accusations of left “incitement” – it’s all Accusation in a Mirror, which I have been saying was really really not a good sign ages ago. And now this outlet is outright calling for violence against liberal dissent to maga.
Can You IMAGINE If a Liberal Wrote This? The Bulwark Sep 27, 2025 Geoffrey Ingersoll, The Daily Caller’s editor-at-large published a shocking column calling for “ultra violence” and “blood in the streets” in response to political tensions.
This editor uses the bizarre term “street liberals” to explain who he wants as the target of the ultra violence, and the piece specifically suggests disproportionate violence too. I guess this is to try to evoke animosity or rev up and stoke fear and anger toward ordinary white middle aged ladies and senior citizens out at No Kings protests? It’s obviously so ridiculous at the same time as disturbing and deranged. Anyone imagining this is pathetic, and anyone promoting or going along with this is a weirdo who needs help; and by help I mean needs the hook of a cane to come and help them off stage. I just don’t think even a lot of die hard right-wing MAGA are going to want to see their liberal aunts “get clotheslined” for carrying a Save Medicaid sign or have old ladies hospitalized. (Both things suggested in this deranged whiny piece from The Daily Caller. These people are way out there.)

And it almost seems like a bit of Accusation in a Mirror because some right-wingers have suggested in the past that there’s a right-wing militia at the ready made up of anti-vax military retirees to go out and do vigilante violence. This stuff was out of hand awhile ago.
