I wasn’t even for a moment doubting who they wanted their dead relative to vote for because they said “they say the other side does it all the time” and there’s only one side that has people who would for a moment think that or say it.
At least someone in the thread suggested presenting the evidence that people have gotten arrested for this because of course they record this and check it and it’s not worth it.
It’s sad that people have been lied to and told that “Democrats” have dead people or non-citizens committing voting fraud “all the time” and it makes them think that it’s possible, and that people don’t get caught if they do that, when that’s absolutely not true, people do get caught.
Unfortunately being unaware of how this stuff works sounds believable… because I’ve heard there are people who think they can just try going to a different DMV if they get a “no” at one of them. As if there’s nobody communicating from office to office in a state, or between states. There are people who have no concept about the level of bureaucracy and tracking there is. If people only knew how dangerously connected everything is. Our mental healthcare data is for sale, specific down to residence address. The U.S. government can track anyone who carries a phone.
