Jeffrey Tucker, covid contrarian and right-wing propagandist

Jeffrey A Tucker @jeffreyatucker Do people know how insulting it is to put on a mask when you come near? It's like saying: I suspect that you are diseased and I don't want your filth near my body. Never mind that it doesn't work. It's ruinous to friendship. 5:09 PM · Jan 13, 2024 · 81.7K  Views 386 replies 184 retweets 712 hearts 10 bookmarks

This is called woke-washing DARVO. It’s a tactic used a lot for years by climate contrarians, and now anti-maskers. Imagine if he said this about a woman and her clothes, like a Ferengi on Star Trek. Or made this remark about condoms. It makes no sense because it’s not an argument in good faith. He’s claiming to be the victim, but he’s the one who wants the “freedom” to infect his friends.

This is the guy now infamous for leaked emails revealing he supports child labor and youths smoking cigarettes from the anti-public health PR outlet, Brownstone Institute, handsomely funded by dark money and platforming anti-vaxxers like Robert Malone and Naomi Wolf, I’m pretty sure he knows what he’s doing.

And now Jeffrey Tucker was at some right-wing anti-vax rally outside the Supreme Court. He was complaining as if these rich right-wing elements haven’t already been catering to judges with expensive aspirations.

Jeffrey Tucker was promoting kooky Bill Gates rumours and also seemed to be invoking abortion buzzwords in a way that makes it seem like maybe his Supreme Court rally speech was written to try to game SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Important Context – Concentration Camps, Transphobia, and Election Denial: Anti-Vaccine Groups Rally Outside Supreme Court In Defense of Misinformation. The groups are hoping the court’s right-wing justices deliver a crippling blow to government efforts to combat online misinformation. – WALKER BRAGMAN – MAR 18, 2024 Tucker, whose dark money outfit is overwhelmingly funded by a handful of opaque donations, closed by declaring that that the ruling class was “a little bit demoralized because they did not expect this level of their “citizen resistance.” “They had no Plan B,” he said. “It’s like, ‘Let’s control everybody.’ ‘What if that doesn’t work?’ ‘Oh, don’t worry, it’ll work fine. We’ll just be in constant lockdown forever and then Bill Gates will run the world, sell his potions to everybody.’
