More blame the user for the problems and flaws with AI chatbot LLM products.

AI boosters use the vulnerable people as scapegoats tactic. Sometimes it’s meant as a way to put people at ease who believe themselves to not be at risk, and sometimes it’s a way to say it just happens to “those other people” and that’s ok actually. Chloe Humbert Sep 21, 2025

Sadly seeing this more from content creators on social media. Sort of saying stuff like “I use AI chatbot pro all the time and I’m fine, but these people using chatbots this way are pathetic or this is dangerous and awful” etc etc. For example one youtuber was talking about stuff like the AI friend, which is genuinely cringe, and creepy, and very problematic. But then saying it’s fine to use it in place of hiring an expensive lawyer for legal representation, as long as you fact check it yourself, as a non-lawyer with no expertise to fact check it…
