Even if this doesn’t defeat the right-wing and even if you didn’t want to, it’s the right thing to do, because good gravy am I sick of sketchy MLM type stuff and product cults polluting every damned space. It’s unpleasant. Just make it stop already!!
My letter to reps:
We need the authorities to crack down on MLMs and put a stop to scam multi-level marketing schemes. I’m so tired of sketchy product cults invading every community space with dubious testimonials and aggressive sales tactics. A lot of people who don’t appropriately disclose conflicts of interest up front. Many innocent people are hurt by deceptive business practices. And even the small time cons can really add up to an awful lot of harm. I’m tired of watching and cringing at the sales tactics. It’s far past time for lawmakers and regulators to step up.
