The red flag here was when she said that she couldn’t find a good enough deal in the ACA marketplace. Since the ACA marketplace typically involves subsidies otherwise not available, it’s unlikely anyone would find cheaper health insurance away from the marketplace, at least not real health insurance that would be trustworthy. It’s a big shame that we don’t have government leadership that at least tries to inform everyone about this. So we have to warn each other. Because there will be people taking advantage of cuts to ACA and all the rest of it.
