It keeps people from recklessness, and is likely the reason for any living creature’s survival of any length.
This has been twisted, and poor judgement and needlessly exposing oneself to risk is being promoted by some. It’s not only unwise, it’s counter-productive. But apparently it must be useful to someone if some number of people disregard their own safety, or this wouldn’t be a promoted attitude.
