It’s odd that more Dem politicians don’t run on anti-corruption. It’s the primary motivating factor for most of my voting, not least in downballot races. I know I’m not alone.

Republicans are running nonstop commercials in NEPA (Northeastern Pennsylvania) to justify the BBBill.
Republicans, or somebody pro-Republican, is running ads that are trying to tell us Rep. Rob Bresnahan voting for the Big Boondoggle Bill was good actually. They’re trying to advance this false narrative that denying healthcare insurance coverage for some healthy young men and rarely use their healthcare is somehow going to make it better for disabled people.
AI Boosters contradict each other & can’t be trusted.
My published Letter to the Editor about AI and data centers in the Scranton Times-Tribune.
Because of course Rob Bresnahan bought his own private helicopter.
But what does he know about the transportation the rest of us use I wonder?
Monarchists and magnates, sticking it to us on things like healthcare, automation and AI; it’s all connected.
No kings means rejecting automated monarchist systems.
Where are all the doctors who could be informing their patients? And where are the hospital lobbyists?
We know there’s tons of lobbyists working on the behalf of big healthcare corporations. Yet they seem to have let this healthcare industry destroying big boondoggle bill succeed. What happened?
JD Vance visited Northeastern Pennsylvania and Action Together NEPA & others were there to protest.
Side note: I tried reading “Hillbilly Elegy” after the election just to inform myself, and I just abandoned the effort after JD Vance left Pennsylvania out of his list of Appalachian states. Protesters rally in West Pittston against Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” Story by Hannah Poggi Enraged by the bill, protesters shared their reasons […]
Pennsylvania AI boondoggle summit as full of BS and unwanted garbage as expected.
I listened to Trump at the Republican data center power plant “summit” in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and read about Josh Shapiro’s involvement so you don’t have to. (You can thank me later.)
Rep. Rob Bresnahan in Pennsylvania noted to benefit with defense stocks from a war with Iran.
It’s ironic because he campaigned on stopping Congress from trading stocks, and introduced legislation to that effect in May 2025, but he’s continually in a position to be criticized for doing it himself.
Conflict of Interest: Rep. Rob Bresnahan campaigned on stopping congress stock trades and then dumped medicaid-related stock before voting for the big boondoggle bill.
It’s a little ironically insulting because he actually introduced a bill in Congress to supposedly ban stock trades. I guess he has to make a show of it because he campaigned on the issue.
The UK Post Office computer system outrageous injustice story, dramatized.
Mr Bates Vs the Post Office is finally available in the US streaming on PBS Passport and Apple TV, and probably elsewhere.
Pennsylvania American Water seems a little nervous.
I’m seeing PA American Water commercials on youtube making claims about how safe and reliable they are. You know it’s bad and they’re probably feeling some heat. There must be a lot of people writing letters like I have about the fees, the slow processing of payments, the dirty water without notice, and the pollution of our local river.
By law all sorts of things aren’t supposed to happen.
“By law, Social Security cannot be touched in the budget reconciliation process.”
It’s imperative to inform politicians about tech scams that target their ideological hopes with false promises.
Crypto mogul donors lure politicians to betray their communities by saying they’re doing it to benefit their communities. It’s a trick.
Crypto-printing power plant in Pennsylvania changes hands.
These cryptocurrency operations with their data centers and power plants contribute NO POWER TO THE GRID, provide nothing to the community other than various forms of pollution and higher prices.
Not representative democracy material.
I don’t even feel like I have a way for redress when it comes to Harrisburg. The bar has to be set higher than merely not horrendous.
Excuse for not fixing mistakes made by ICE renditions is that Trump is too weak and powerless?
I was disturbed to hear that President Trump is so subjugated by a foreign leader in Central America that they can’t fix the mistakes by ICE because the American president is so completely dominated by the iron hand of Bukele?? I don’t know why Congress would allow this level of impotence in the White House!
Rep. Rob Bresnahan has gone all in on the nightmare of data centers to fuel AI scams.
Rep Rob Bresnahan’s stock trades, including in tech companies, as of March 2025 are interesting.
Rob Bresnahan’s comms director defamed constituents in order to make excuses for not having a public town hall in the district.
Indivisible’s Ezra Levin has pointed out that Republicans will do tele town halls because then they can tightly control who can speak. So of course: U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan has announced he’s holding a “Telephone Town Hall”
Rob Bresnahan is being called on the carpet by constituents on Medicaid vote.
I sent him a postcard with a jellyfish, and I have more jellyfish postcards reserved just for him.
Medicaid info town hall by Pennsylvania state Rep Kosierowski.
I listened to the whole thing in case you can’t or don’t want to. (Voila, you can thank me later!)
Jellyfish Rob Bresnahan folds like a cheap lawn chair and breaks promise to not cut Medicaid.
My representative in Congress, Rep. Rob Bresnahan (R, PA-08), had promised not to vote for cuts to Medicaid, and was quoted saying, “If a bill is put in front of me that guts the benefits my neighbors rely on, I will not vote for it.” And yet, he voted for the bill that mathematically would have to cut Medicaid.
