I’m going to assume this is some PR BS… and that’s why it doesn’t make sense – because it’s not logic, it’s PR.
Jonathan V. Last was on The New Abnormal podcast and actually said that he’s against getting rid of the electoral college because a national popular vote would weaken the parties, and he says we need strong parties to act as strong gatekeepers to keep people like Donald Trump from winning nominations and taking over parties.
Yeah because that’s worked out right?
